Summer and Grant are probably one of the funniest and funnest couples I have ever been around. From her beautiful voice and love for laughter to his smooth dance moves and amazing lip syncing skills, there is never ever a dull moment with these two. I laughed and cried my way through this entire wedding. I started my day off with Grant at his bosses home listening to the guys rap, crack jokes, text their wives proudly they tied their tie, and cuddle all in bed together. Summer is an actress at the Urbanite Theatre I got a behind the scenes experience as her and her closest got ready there. I was shocked and impressed as they all skipped to the trolly and sang “Going to the Chapel” in perfect pitch and all together. They exchanged their I do’s at Sarasota’s oldest church, Crocker Church. The raw beauty and history this church has is all the decor you need from large windows, wooden floors, and pews. However, Ashley Gruters from SRQ Tees transformed this space into an even more beautiful space with a vintage flair. Banjos played outside the church to welcome their guests as they came in. Their ceremony was so personal and touching as letters and cards were read out loud from over the years they were together. After the ceremony they jumped on the trolly and headed down to the Mandeville Beer Garden where I experienced the hippest wedding reception to date. Florals from Victoria Blooms were hung in old bottles decorating the venue. They had unique foods and of course a wide variety of IPA beers. I myself couldn’t keep my tears from leaving my eyes as I witnessed one of the sweetest moments of a family becoming one. Grant’s mother began dancing with her son singing to him my wish to you. As her she hands her son off to Summer she grabs her other son dances with him and hands him off to his wife she grabbed her last son and dances with him and hands him to his fiancé finally dancing with Grants father. The entire family dancing together with their new spouses. The emotion in the air was felt by everyone. The night ended with Grant and all of his buddies doing the most impressive Back Street Boys cover dare I say ever. Their lip syncing and dancing skills are what dreams are made of. This crowd knew how to party. Congratulations Summer and Grant MANY years of laughter happiness and Grant helping Summer fund her car keys ahead of you.
